CURRENT VALUE belongs to the top of the European Drum & Bass scene and takes
a visit to Lelystad, the Netherlands just for Basic Base! Actually, Current
Value was trained as a classical pianist, but ultimately, he fell for Drum &
Bass.
He has had extensive tours in Europe and the United States and will be able
to see exclusively in our cosy venue Underground. In his hometown Berlin,
Current Value is currently one of the hottest DJ’s.

NOBLE started off his musical career in Rotterdam. After winning several DJ
prizes he performed at Lowlands Festival for the first time. He has
performed together with many national and international DJs like Grooverider
and Krust, and since March 2008 he runs his own radioshow on the high
respected Jungletrain internetradio stream.

These DJs will basskick all of lelystad awake from their long winterslumber.

December is Feestmaand in Underground en dat vieren we met een nieuwe editie van drum and bass feest Basic Base, we je ballen uit je boom tijdens Basic Base nummer 8.

Internationaal bekende DJ’s

Alweer de 8e Basic Base in podium Underground en we kunnen nu al zeggen, de vetste!

Na het zeer geslaagde Outdoor avontuur pakken we op deze nieuwe indoor editie flink uit. DJ Hidden keert terug voor het Lelystadse publiek en kan zijn generator-slopend harde set nu eindelijk afmaken.

Ook de rest van de line-up bestaat uit nationaal en internationaal bekende namen:

Basic Base en Poppodium Underground organiseren op 19 september 2009 het eerste openlucht drum & bass festival van Nederland. In het centrum van Lelystad verreist een festivalterrein met plaats voor een kleine duizend bezoekers. De toegang is gratis!

Basic Base Outdoor, zoals het festival gaat heten, wordt een nationaal drum & bass feest. Uit heel Nederland hebben bekende crews hun medewerking al toegezegd, waaronder: Strike Out uit Eden, het Leidse Champion Sound, Utreg Massive en Basic Base uit Lelystad. De aftrap wordt verzorgd door Osiris van het Amsterdamse Subbalicious label. Het complete programma wordt de komende maanden bekendgemaakt.

Basic Base Outdoor is onderdeel van LelystART, de aftrap van het culturele seizoen in Lelystad. In het weekend van 18, 19 en 20 september organiseren culturele instellingen allerlei activiteiten in het stadshart. Basic Base Outdoor is een van de bijdragen van Poppodium Underground. De laatste overdekte edities van Basic Base waren daar zo populair, dat we niet alle belangstellenden kwijt konden. Dit festival biedt meer mensen de ruimte om, lekker in de frisse lucht, van drum & bass te genieten.
